He Said, She Said… He said, He replied…

10/06/2010

There’s a cow who signed up for Twitter on April 13, 2009. I have been stalking him for the longest time now. His first username was @thetrifler then changed to @triflernomore then changed again to @milky_me and @milkyme7 and finally now decided he would use @milky7me. The main reason why he signed up is The Morning Rush so he can tweet his entries. Now, because of this micro-blogging site, he met the love of his life. He got addicted to tweeting more and more because of his friends and the chance to interact with celebs! Here are the conversations he had with few celebrities. Enjoy reading!

Songs Choose Their Singers

04/02/2010

I wrote this post because I find these stuff remarkable. There are a lot of songs that were given to certain artists first before they got to the hands of the artists who popularized them. I also know that you can find these through the World Wide Web but I wanted to compile it for you guys to enjoy. (ang bait ko diba? :_)

I got these bits of information from my Twitter friends then I looked it up on Wikipedia.

Halo
Thanks to Misterhubs

Ryan Tedder said that he only tentatively offered the track Halo to Leona Lewis after Beyoncé initially took a long time to record it.

Why Trifler?

01/21/2010

Merriam-Webster defines the word as:

Main Entry: trifle Function: verb Inflected Form(s): tri·fled; tri·fling \-f(ə-)liŋ\

Etymology: Middle English truflen, triflen, from Anglo-French trufler to trick, talk nonsense Date: 14th century intransitive verb

1 a : to talk in a jesting or mocking manner or with intent to delude or mislead

b : to treat someone or something as unimportant

2 : to handle something idly transitive verb : to spend or waste in trifling or on trifles — tri·fler \-f(ə-)lər\ noun

synonyms trifle, toy, dally, flirt, coquet mean to deal with or act toward without serious purpose. trifle may imply playfulness, unconcern, indulgent contempt

From http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/trifler

I got the nick from these songs:

Now My Eyes Are Open And I Can See
You Were Devious And Shady
Only
Trifling With Me

-You Had Your Chance

Mariah Carey, Charmbracelet, 2002

You triflin’, good for nothing type of brother
Silly me, why haven’t I found another?
A baller, when times get hard
I need someone to help me out”

-Bills, Bills, Bills

Destiny’s Child, The Writing’s On The Wall, 1999

I used to toy with people’s emotions until everything came back to me. Now, I learned my lesson.
